The JetBlue Safe Schools Program was created to give back to our communities. Our hope is to

help protect students and faculty from school-place violence through effective education, preparation, and interactive involvement with special emphasis on active shooter safety. As part of JetBlue’s Corporate Responsibility program, we have created a thirty minute school-place violence/active shooter training program which focuses on a variety of aspects to help keep our children safe and to be as prepared as possible. With video instruction by Kristina Anderson—a survivor of the 2007 shooting at Virginia Tech—this in person training is free of charge and specifically geared toward middle school to college-aged students, faculty, and parents.
